Sentrian team welcomes several new additions (big and small)

Matt Blowes June 16, 2017 News & Announcements

If you've seen a new face or heard an unfamiliar voice on the phone recently, you're not mistaken! The Sentrian team has been picking up new members over the last several months. Now we're excited that we can give you a little introduction to some of the new talent.

Phillip Wilson - Service Desk

Brisbane born and raised, Phillip joined the Service Desk just before Christmas last year. He's quickly become a reliable part of the team and his exploits have already been recognised. Phillip managed to take out our coveted Senturion of the Month award for April, recognising his commitment to always providing a high quality of service.

Phillip says he is happy he took the leap and joined Sentrian but the new start hasn't been without its challenges. The biggest obstacle so far?

Ralph's... "jokes".

Steven Ricafuente - Service Desk

For our Sydney clients, you may already have had the opportunity to meet Steven. Despite being only 24-years-old, Steven has already racked up an impressive six years of Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience.

Steven had a whirlwind trip to Brisbane to meet the rest of the team when he started but he is permanently based in Sydney alongside David Mitry.

In his downtime, Steven stays active. He currently plays basketball and regularly takes on mixed martial arts (with a bit of boxing thrown in too).

James Fletcher - Service Desk

James also jumped on-board just before the Easter period. With enthusiasm you can't miss, James started life in New Zealand before rounding out his last few schooling years in Brisbane. After a few years of experience with smaller MSPs, he's now taking taking on the demands of our Service Desk.

Outside of work, he says he's hitting the outdoors. But only when he's not in front of his DJ equipment.

"Most weekends I’ll often be out creating my own adventures. Whether that be hiking, swimming (not in winter of course!) or a side of Volleyball, which I’m quite passionate about."

James is aiming to achieve certifications in both Office 365 and Cisco over the next 12 months. He's also looking forward to learning more about the inner workings of MSPs.

And there's more

Juan Quiroga is another name that may sound familiar. He joined as a Systems Engineer in early May. While we're not yet ready to give a full introduction, we're happy to say the delay is for a good reason. Juan has recently taken leave to welcome new (and undoubtly cute) addition to his family. We wish them well.

We will be introducing a few other new names over the coming weeks and months, so remember to drop back in to learn more about the Sentrian team!
